We look forward to hearing from you!<\/p>\n<h2>What speakers need to have:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A love of WordPress<\/strong><br \/>\nIt <em>is<\/em> a conference about WordPress, after all. While we are looking for a wide variety of topics, please make sure your submission is in some way relevant to WordPress.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A love of the community<\/strong><br \/>\nWordCamps are all about giving back. Our speakers, organizers and volunteers are not compensated for their time or expenses, so it would be best if you <em>want<\/em> to give back!<\/li>\n<li><strong>A love of your topic<\/strong><br \/>\nMore than that, really&#8230; you need passion <em>and<\/em> experience to really get your point across. Regardless of <em>why<\/em> you love your chosen topic, we love that you love it!<\/li>\n<li><strong>A love of speaking<\/strong><br \/>\nWe don&#8217;t require previous speaking experience &#8230; but you <em>will<\/em> be presenting to a large group of your peers, and will be recorded for WordPress TV.<\/li>\n<li><strong>A love of the GPL<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you distribute WordPress-derivative works, your users should enjoy the same freedoms that WordPress itself provides. In other words, your products should be 100% GPL or compatible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Overall, we&#8217;re looking for a diverse group of WordPress enthusiasts from Omaha and across the country (or even the globe!) who want to share their expertise, experiences and passion.<\/p>\n<h2>How to apply<\/h2>\n<p>Interested?
