When is WordCamp Omaha?

WordCamp Omaha 2019 is scheduled for Saturday, August 24th from 8am to 4pm and Sunday, August 25th from 8am to 12pm.

What Is WordCamp?

WordCamp Omaha is an annual volunteer-run conference centered around WordPress, the free and open source software powering more than 30% of the Internet and over 75 million websites around the world.

Why “WordCamp”?

Omaha has an active monthly Meetup community, WP Omaha, that brings together people from all levels of expertise and from all around the Omaha area. Our focus? Building a strong, supportive, local community based on WordPress and all the ways it is used. Our Meetups are led by local experts in such areas as WordPress development, design, and administration and management, as well as marketing, social media, content, and business. WordCamp Omaha provides the space and time for all of us to come together for a more focused, hands-on learning experience, and to more deeply explore all that WordPress offers. WordCamp Omaha is also a great opportunity for folks from other locations around Nebraska and the midwest—perhaps places that don’t have monthly WordPress Meetups—to immerse themselves in WordPress.
